In the book of Acts chapter 1 verse 8 it says; "...Then you will tell everyone about me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and everywhere in the world."(CEV) At Jasper's First Baptist Church we take this as our command to "do" missions. In the coming year we will be offering mission opportunities locally, here in the states and oversees. It is our hope that all of our members would have an opportunity to experience missions in a meaningful way as together we try to fulfill Jesus's great commission; "Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world." (Matt. 28:19-20CEV)
